PURPOSE:To test electronic parts, etc. with good reproducibility in a moisture resistance tester for said parts by providing a steam generating tank and a testing tank independently, connecting both tanks by means of a pipe and controlling the temps. thereof independently. CONSTITUTION:Objects 2 to be tested are installed in a testing tank 9, and the temp. of the atmosphere is increased by a thermostatic chamber 10 and heaters 12. At the same time, steam is generated in a steam generating tank 5, and is introduced into the tank 9 through a connecting pipe 11, so that the inside of said tank is substituted with the steam. After this, an air releasing valve 8 is closed and the inside of the tank 9 is maintained at a prescribed temp. and steam pressure, whereby the test is started. It is possible to set the inside of the testing tank quickly at a desired temp. by using the heaters 12. With such construction, no water drops stick on any parts in the inside of the testing tank, arbitrary temps. and relative himidity are obtained in a short time, and the objects are tested with good reproducibility. |
