摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an image in wide media to be recorded at high speed and less smooth- surfaced media to be recorded with high image quality by providing a recording means which gives a single directional magnetic field to image forming elements and a removal means which gives a magnetic field capable of selectively removing the image forming elements from a suspending member, each means having an auxiliary magnetic pole for concentration of a magnetic flux from a main magnetic pole to a prearranged point. CONSTITUTION:If a magnetic field is given capsule ink by a bias magnet 12a of a magnetism providing means 12, a magnetic flux concentrates toward the tip of an auxiliary magnetic field 12b, and the magnetic field is limited to only ink 8 which is present on a heat-applied point on a drum 1. Ink 8 which is given both light and heat by the magnetic field simultaneously has magnetic substance oriented uniformly in a radial direction of the drum 1. On the other hand, ink 8 which is not given light and heat has no magnetic substance oriented. If an inverse potential to a charger 2 is applied to an insulative layer 1b of a recovery charger 5d to generate an alternating magnetic field in a coil of a recovery magnet 5e, then this magnetic flux is concentrated into a microwidth by a recovery magnetic pole 5f, only the ink which is magnetically oriented is removed from the drum 1 and recovered by a recovering device 5. The capsule ink 8 left on the drum 1 is applied to recording paper 13 for transfer by a transfer charger 6a when it reaches a transfer means 6.
