<p>The properties of a fibrous substrate are improved by application of a composition comprising: -
<UnorderedLists id="ula01" listStyle="none"><ListItem>A. a polyether-ene having the formula
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="17" wi="33" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>where Q is a moiety terminating in the residue of an active hydrogen-containing group selected from the group consisting of alcoholic hydroxyl, thiol, amide, carboxylic acid and secondary amine with an active hydrogen removed, E is a moiety containing a radical having an activated olefinic unsaturation, either α, β or β, y to the activating group, n is the number of adjacent segments having this formula, and n and m are integers and are each at least 1, provided that where one is less than 4 the other is at least 4; and</ListItem><ListItem>B. a non-air-curing compound having a structure comprising at least two free-radical polymerizable unsaturations.
