PURPOSE:To perform the control of frquency without affecting other oscillator which are enclosed into a glass case, by enclosing two tuning fork type piezoelectric oscillators stacked on each other into the glass case and at the same time varying the width of the tuning fork. CONSTITUTION:A tuning fork type piezoelectric oscillator 2 having a large space between the tuning fork arms is stacked on another tuning fork type piezoelectric oscilltor 1 having a small space between the tuning fork arms. These two oscillators are set into a glass case 3 after arranged in the same direction. The case 3 is made melt-sticking the glass 3a and a metallic frame 3b. A solder frame, etc. is put into the part between a metallic plate and a metallic cover after coating a sealing agent like the solder, etc. on the surface of the metallic plate. The solder frame is heated under vacuume to be sealed up. Then the weights at the arm tip parts of the oscillators 1 and 2 of the piezoelectric oscillator unit which is sealed airtght are deleted by the laser beam from the transparent part of the cover or the glass of the lower part 3a of the case 3. Thus the frequency is controlled. |
