摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly operate meshing and unmeshing of gears, by forming mutual ratio of number of teeth, between tooth parts of mutually meshed fixed and shift gears, to an integer multiple of each other. CONSTITUTION:In case of a shift gear 2 and fixed gears 4, 5, if assumed Z2a, Z2b for each number of teeth in gear parts 2a, 2b of the shift gear 2 and Z4, Z5 for a number of teeth of the fixed gears 4, 5, number of teeth ratio Z4:Z2a, between the mutually meshed fixed gear 4 and gear part 2a, is set to integer ratio such as, for instance, 2:1 or 3:1, and number of teeth ratio Z5:Z2b, between the fixed gear 5 and the gear part 2b, is similarly set to integer ratio such as, for instance, 1:2 or 1:3. In this constitution, the shift gear, unmeshed from one of the fixed gears by shift operation, can be easily meshed to the other one of the fixed gears, and a very few chance is caused for tooth points to collide with each other.
