A pressure fluid-driven working cylinder of the type which comprises a cylindrical tube 10, two opposite end walls 11, 12, a piston 13 and a piston rod 14 which extends out through one of the end walls 12. A sealing arrangement comprises annular support elements 29, 30 each located on the inside of an end wall 11, 12 and has an outer support portion 35 for interaction with on the one hand the cylindrical tube 10 and on the other hand an annular shoulder 44, 45 on the respective end wall 11, 12. The support element 29, 30 has peripheral projections 43 for clamping between the cylindrical tube 10 and the end walls 11, 12, and two peripheral grooves for supporting sealing rings 31, 32 which are arranged so as to bear sealingly against on the one hand the cylindrical tube 10 and on the other hand the end walls 11, 12. A sleeve-shaped insert 27 in one of the end walls 12 forms a piston rod guide and a support for a piston rod seal 28b. <IMAGE> |
