PURPOSE:To maintain the tension of each section at a constant level and thereby enhance printing accuracy by adjusting the speed and tension of each printing line using a positional control and a torque bias compensation control in the normal mode and a speed and accelerated speed feed forward control in the speed acceleration and reduction mode. CONSTITUTION:For the sectional drive of a printing line, an integrator 16 which integrates a speed command value and calculates a position command value, a position gain 17, a speed gain 18 and a torque bias compensation circuit 20 respectively are installed on the control system of each section. In addition, a differentiator 29 which differentiates a speed command value and generates a speed acceleration feed forward (FF) signal 28, a speed detector which is installed on a motor 22 to generate a feedback signal 24 and a position detector which is installed on a roll 23 to generate a feedback signal 26 are provided. During normal operation, speed and tension are adjusted using a position control and a torque bias compensation control. On the other hand, in the speed acceleration and reduction mode, speed and tension are controlled using a speed FF control and a speed acceleration FF control. |
