PURPOSE:To provide a heat pipe type cooler capable of preventing an occurrence of dry-out at a heat inputting part of the heat pipe and realizing a superior characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A heat pipe type cooler is comprised of a heat pipe 1 composed of a metallic pipe having both ends closed, working liquid enclosed therein, a part of which being applied as a heat inputting part 2 provided with a heat generating member 7 and the other portion being applied as a thermal radiation part 3 and heat radiation fins 6 arranged outside the heat radiation part 3 of the heat pipe 1. A groove 4 extending in an entire axial direction is formed at an inner surface of the heat pipe 1 and the inner surface of the heat inputting part 2 of the heat pipe 1 is formed with a groove 5 extending along a circumferential direction of it. |
