PURPOSE:To facilitate the measurement of a beam course range from outside by providing a beam course position detector with a plurality of photoelectric elements connected to a circuit of a CRT in an ultrasonic flaw detector. CONSTITUTION:A beam course range measuring apparatus 4 is made up of a beam course position detector 5 and a beam course analysis circuit 11. The beam course position detector 5 has a photoelectric element circuit connected to a circuit of a Braun tube in an ultrasonic inspector 1 to produce an output responding to an echo light displayed on the Braun tube. The beam course analysis circuit 11 having a voltage detection circuit and a microcomputer analyzes a potential detected with a detector 5 and outputs it as analog or digital signal. This output signal is inputted into a computer 14 via an A/D converter 12B and computed with an echo level signal. The result of the inspection is recorded on an X-Y plotter 15. |
