PURPOSE:To selectively sort and store a recording sheet in either attitude with a face up and down, by providing a recording sheet inverting means before conveyance of the sheet in a sorter sorting and storing the recording sheet carried out from a copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet is carried out from a picture recorder A, conveyed along a conveying route 11 and introduced into pincs 12a, 12b, ...13n in a sorter laterally provided to the conveying route 11, and the sheet is sorted and stored to the pin selectively in an attitude with a face up and down. At this time, a switch back device 15, recording sheet inverting means, is provided before the conveying route 11, and the pins, mixed with face up and down attitudes, are changed by said device 15 to either attitude, in which the recording sheet is stored in an attitude with a face down, when entering the pins 12a, 12b...12n, while in an attitude with a face up, when entering the pins 13a, 13b,... 13n. |
