PURPOSE:To obtain the titled receptor with improved sensitivity and repetitive endurance by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer contg. a specified bisazo pigment and a charge transferring layer on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer is formed on an electrically conductive support by laminating a charge generating layer having 0.01-5mum thickness and contg. a bisazo pigment having <=5mum grain size represented by formulaI(where R is optionally substituted alkyl or aryl; each of A1 and A2 is an optionally substituted bivalent heterocyclic group; each of n and m is 0-2; and Cp is a coupler residue) and <=80% binder such as casein, and a charge transferring layer having 2-100mum thickness and consisting of 100pts.wt. binder such as polyethylene and 10-500pts.wt. charge transferring substance such as hydrazone compound represented by formula II. Thus, an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity and causing no increase in light part potential and no decrease in dark part potential even after repeating charging and exposure is obtd. |
