PURPOSE:To obtain a key inputting method with excellent operability, by comparing an input key code with another key code which is stored with previous if the same key is depressed twice or more, and operating a repeating function when the codes are coincident. CONSTITUTION:When a key on a keyboard KB is depressed, a key signal KS is transmitted to a key encoder KE to output a key code signal KCD. The signal KCD starts a timer circuit T1 and is transmitted to a discrimination circuit G4 via a gate G5. To another input terminal of the circuit G4, a memory M storing a key code at the previous depression is connected and the circuit G4 detects the coincidence/non-coincidence between the key code at present and the key code depressed previously. If the result is coincident, an output of the circuit 4 starts the 2nd timer circuit T2, and the signal KCD is continuously supplied to a CPU with a time interval of the timer T2 via the gates G3 and G1. |
