PURPOSE:To provide the titled material which does not cause adherence of sediments, sticking, etc., by providing a heat-sensitive color forming layer made of a leuco dye, an acidic substance and two specific compounds on a support, thereby providing clear image even in case of high-speed, long-term recording. CONSTITUTION:A liquid for forming a heat-sensitive color forming layer is prepared by mixing (A) a colorless or pale leuco dye (e.g., 3-pyrrolidino-6-methyl-7- anilinofluoran), (B) an acidc substance (e.g.,bisphenol A), (C) 0.5-5pts.wt. (per 1pt.wt. component A) at least one compound represented by formulaeI-III, where X is halogen; Y ia alkyl, alkoxy, or halogen; m=0-3, n=1-3, R<1>-R<3> are each alkyl, alkoxy, or halogen; R<4> is alkyl, alkylaryl, or phenyl (e.g., 4- benzylphenyl benzoate), and (D) 0.2-3pts.wt. at least one compound represented by formulae IV-VI, where R<5>-R<10> are each 10-30C alkyl. A substrate is coated with this mixture and dried to obtain the objective recording material. |
