PURPOSE:To improve the reality, by giving the thickness to the next image, changing the thickness by the distance of a wave and then moving the wave back and forth. CONSTITUTION:A triangular wave generator 7 produces a triangular wave signal 7a synchronized with a horizontal synchronizing signal 4 and feeds the signal 7a to a comparator 11. While the triangular wave generators 8 and 9 produce the triangular wave signals 8a and 9a and feed them to the comparator 11. The signals 8a and 9a have different inclinations, and these inclinations vary by the speed signal 6. At the same time, the periods of the signals 8a and 9a are varied by the control signal 10a supplied from a thickness control part 10. The comparator 11 performs a comparison of level between the signal 7a and the signals 8a/9a. The point of coincidence is detected and fed to an wave image synthesizing part 12 in the form of a width control signal 11a. A wave video signal 12a is obtained at the pary 12 by delivering a noise signal 10b from the part 10 for a period during which the signal 11a is supplied. |
