PURPOSE:To carry out a region designating process of a picture in real time and with a simple constitution, by processing the data to be inserted based on a color data which is obtained from an optical image that received the designation of region with a specific color. CONSTITUTION:The designation of region is carried out on an original MAT printed in the red and black colors by means of a blue loop. The binary blue and red signals BSB and BSR obtained by reading optically the original MAT are supplied to a color discriminator DMC. The DMC produces the blue, red and black data DBU, DRE and DBK respectively based on the signals BSB and BSR. Based on the data DBU, an output signal DOUT is obtained via an edge detector EDE, a region detector DEA, a loop discriminator DCL and a data selector SDT. The signal DOUT is supplied to the data switch DSW in the form of the information on the designated region that has been discriminated. The switch DSW supplies the black data DHB and the red data to a black head HEB and a red head respectively under the control of the signal DOUT. In such a way, a picture in which the designation of region is performed can be formed. |
