PURPOSE:To prepare FEN-TIAO (sticks of bean jelly) which can be packed easily by an automatic packaging machine, by forming kneaded starch to noodles, passing through a hot water bath, cooling, cutting to a definite length, charging in a bucket, and freeze-drying the noodle. CONSTITUTION:A glutinous material obtained by kneading starch thoroughly is extruded through small nozzles to obtain noodles, and the starch is converted completely to alpha-starch by passing the noodles through boiling water. The boiled noodles are cut to 25-30cm long and charged into a dividing apparatus. A definite amount of the noodles (FEN-TIAO) are weighed by the metering bucket of the dividing apparatus, and fed together with water into a drying bucket. The FEN-TIAO is drained in the drying bucket, frozen, thawed, dried, packed in a bag, and delivered. |
