PURPOSE:To provide a unit type printer for which the changing of connection of printing units for respective different contents of printing is not required and the remote control operation by, for example, an outside computer can be carried out efficiently. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of printing units are connected vertically between a paper feeding unit 9 and a paper taking-off unit 11, and a route bypassing a printing unit is formed, if necessary, in the respective printing unit, and a plurality of printing mechanism of slow printing speed are formed in the respective printing unit to make the printing speed faster. Also a printing mechanism of slow printing speed and a printing mechanism of fast printing speed are formed to make the unit multifunctional and the whole of the printing units is controlled integrally by a printing process control unit 1. |
