PURPOSE:To detect the inside temperature of a closed vessel from the external, by providing an oscillating material, which changes the frequency in accordance with temperature, in the closed vessel and detecting the acceleration due to the oscillation of this oscillating material from the external of the closed vessel. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 7 such as a tuning fork is fixed onto a conductor 3 in a metallic cylindrical closed vessel 1. When the oscillating material 7 is heated by the rise of the temperature of a contact part 6, the natural frequency of the oscillating material 7 is changed by the thermal expansion. Then, the surface of the closed vessel 1 is beaten from the external to excite it, and this exciting force is transmitted to the oscillating material 7 through a spacer 2 and the conductor 3 to oscillate the oscillating material 7. The oscillation of the oscillating material 7 is transmitted to an accelerometer 8 provided on the outside surface through the conductor 3 and the spacer 2. The output from the pickup of the accelerometer 8 is recorded on a recorder 11 through a filter 9 and an amplifier 10 and is analyzes, thus detecting the temperature of the contact part 6. |
