The expansion joint (1) has a caisson shape with vertical walls (3,4) and transverse partitions (5,6,7). The top part is joined to the bottom part by thin zones of least resistance (3a,4a) that allow the extraction of the top part after drying of the concrete. Alternatively the bottom part can be tubular and it is joined to the top part by simple clipping. In this case the bottom part is made from a porous material, the core of which has a more supple structure than that of its surrounding crust.
|
