PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of tubes by a method wherein a plurality of tubes are communicated with and connected to a cylindrical hollow header, a tubular body, blockading the ends of the hollow header, is provided with a male screw, projected outwardly, and brackets are fixed by screws. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger for a condenser and the like for a car cooler is constituted of flat tubes 1 and corrugate fins 2, which are arranged in parallel in up-and-down direction alternately, while both ends of respective flat tubes 1 are made to communicate with and connected to a pair of left and right headers 3. In this case, a header cap 3c is constituted of a tubular bottomed cap main body 13, fitted to the end of the header pipe 3a under a condition of external fitting, and a male screw 14, projected from the outer surface of the bottom of the cap 13. The male screw 14 is penetrated through a screw penetrating hole 17, formed at the central parts of both ends of the stay 15 of a bracket 4 for attaching the lower part of the heat exchanger, which is provided with an U-shaped section, and a nut 33 is screwed to the male screw 14 whereby the bracket 4 is fixed. |
