PURPOSE:To simplify an information check program of a CPU and to check whether or not the received information has an error in a short time, by generating a CRC code only with the shift and addition processing of a register. CONSTITUTION:A main controller 1 and a terminal device 2 are both provided with a central processing unit (CPU) and a line controller for correspondence and mutually correspond. Information including an instruction to control the terminal device 2 is transmitted from the main controller 1 to the terminal device 2 and various data generated at the terminal device 2 is transmitted from the terminal device 2 to the main controller 1. To check whether or not the information is correctly transmitted in the correspondence between the main controller 1 and the terminal device 2, the CRC code is produced and transmitted in compliance with the CRC operating equation f=X<16>+X<15>+X<2>+1 through the shift and addition processing of registers. |
