PURPOSE:To improve the life characteristics remarkably without deteriorating the quick discharge characteristics by adding the fluororesin dispersion into the dilute sulfuric acid and immersing a paste type electrode into said dilute sulfuric acid. CONSTITUTION:The relationship between the cycle life and the quick discharge characteristics was investigated by changing the quantity of the fluororesin relative to the dilute sulfuric acid within the range of 1-150g/l, and the results are shown in the figure. It is made clear as shown in the figure that the quantity of 3g/l or less gives a small effect on the life improvement and at least 5g/l or more is required. The quick discharge characteristics tend to be deteriorated smoewhat at 30g/l or above, and the tendency for deterioration increases at 100g/l or above. Therefore, if the life characteristics and the quick discharge characteristics are taken into consideration, 5-100g/l of the fluororesin is suitable and 10-30g/l is preferable. |
