PURPOSE:To provide a printer which is small in size, light in weight and inexpensive, by a method wherein a thrusting-up lever is thrusted up by an oscillation of a trigger lever capable of oscillating with a point as a fulcrum, and a type is strongly struck by the thrusting-up lever to print. CONSTITUTION:A ratchet wheel 11 is given a rotation number such as to impart an appropriate printing pressure to an arbitrary type 5 in a type storage case 9. A trigger lever 12 is supported by a shaft 13 and a lower guide shaft 14 and is energized in the direction of an arrow X by a resetting spring 15. The lever 12 is moved in the direction of an arrow (e), and its tip part 12' is brought to the inside of the radius of rotation of a ratchet part 11'. The tip part 12' collides against the ratchet part 11', the lever 12 is rotated in the direction of an arrow (c) and strikes against a stopper 21 while colliding against the thrusting-up lever 20. The lever 12 is energized in the direction of an arrow (f) by a part of the reaction force of the striking, and is energized in the direction opposite to the arrow (c) by the rest of the reaction force and the resetting spring 15. On the other hand, the lever 20 collided by the ever 12 is moved in the direction of an arrow (b) while being guided by a guide shaft 22 and strongly strikes a bottom face 5'' of the type 5, and the type 5 collides against a platen 8 to print. |
