The sieve has a space (4,5) to which material for sifting is fed, and has an air flow passing from the base upwards through it. This flow transports material, with lower falling speed than the air speed, to an upper outlet (7) for fine division. Material with a higher falling speed passes to a lower outlet (6) for rough sorting. The sieve space has limiting walls (9-11) in a part of its lower section (4) which are adjustable for variation of the throughflow cross-section. |
