PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce a turning radius of a vehicle by turning knuckle arms of front wheels with left or right turning of a forward body of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Turning a steering handle H to the left increases a distance L between a king pin 3 and a ball joint 8 in association with left movement of the king pin 3 at the left side, so that a tie rod 6 pulls a knuckle arm 5 to make a front wheel Wf turn counterclockwise around the king pin 3. At the right side, a distance L' between a king pin 3' and a ball joint 8' is decreased in association with left movement of the king pin 3', so that a tie rod 6' pushes a knuckle arm 5' to make a front wheel turn in the same direction or counterclockwise. A total of a turning angle of a forward body Ff and a turning angle of each of the knuckle arms 5, 5' is therefore offered as a steering angle to both the front wheels Wf, Wf'. |
