PURPOSE:To improve the reliability against the accuracy of a battery life alarm period, by keeping a time from the alarming of battery life to stop of the timepiece constant. CONSTITUTION:If a battery voltage is reduced a preset voltage or below, an output of a detection circuit A is inverted and the alarm of the battery life is made with an alarming device L. Simultaneously, a reset of a timing circuit CT is released and timing is started. The timing circuit CT generates an output when the CT times a preset time, the oscillation of a quartz oscillator Q is stopped and the time is stopped. If a battery voltage is fluctuated through the change in ambient temperature and turning on/off of the accessories and if an output is generated from a detection circuit A temporarily, since the timing circuit CT is cleared with the stop of generation, the effect of voltage fluctuation due to the temperature change and the operation of accessories are not received. |
