PURPOSE:To achieve efficent operation of the power source by enabling instantaneous capturing of residual time for the battery capacity in case of power failure with a specified computation and indication based on the output of a temperature sensor, measured current and the time of battery consumption. CONSTITUTION:Output of a battery 5 is supplied to individual circuits through a switch 6 and a timer 9 in a CPU starts. A temperature sensor 4 detects the ambient temperature of the battery 5 while a current measuring section 3 measures consumed current of a load 7 and data are supplied to the CPU 2. The CPU 2 which memorizes data for change in the battery capacity with respect to the ambient temperature, the coefficient of discharge current of the battery and the service time computes residual time for the battery capacity based on the input data when the load is driven and provides it continuously to a display section 1 to indicate. |
