PURPOSE:To display a list of kinds of pieces of information in a multipage memory by storing information on only the header part at the uppermost part of each unit information screen in the 2nd memory together. CONSTITUTION:For writing to a multipage memory 14M, for example, 16 program codes are specified previously and then stored in an RAM in the working r area in an R/W control processing circuit 15, and every time one of said programs arrives, data on one screen is written. In general, a page header of 9-12 lines is added to the uppermost part of each screen, so the 12 lines at the uppermost part of each screen to be written in the multipage memory 14M are written in a page header memory 14H successively. For reading from the page header memory 14H, indicating the reading from the memory 14H under external selection control allows a control circuit 15 to hold the header memory 14H in readiness for reading, and outputs of other memories 14D and 14M have high impedance. |
