Light-sensitive body

摘要

A light-sensitive body which is sensitive to UV radiation and has excellent contrast properties is produced from base-soluble polymers, such as poly-(methylmethacrylate-co-methacrylic acid), which are physically mixed with base-insoluble materials such as o-nitrobenzyl esters. The base-insoluble esters are decomposed when irradiated, forming base-soluble residues in the irradiated regions. These irradiated regions are then soluble in basic solutions which are used for developing the desired image.
