Camera stand consisting of two equal bipedal supports (12, 14), which can be mounted on a camera housing (40) and form together with the housing a stable four-point support system. The camera housing is accommodated betwen two arms (18 and 20) of each support. One of the arms (20) has an elastic section (26) for pressing the camera housing against the other arm (18). Each support is assigned two individually adjustable screw-in legs (32, 34) which permit the camera to be held in an inclined position by being screwed in to different extents. <IMAGE>
