Domelight consisting of a crown ring and of an erection frame which is articulated thereon and receives at least one domelight shell and which, in the closed position, can be fixed to the crown ring by means of a locking device. A locking device is to be attached to a domelight (12) and is to serve as an intermediate locking device in the event of a failure of the erection mechanism or in repair periods. This locking device (4) consists of a preferably plastic moulding (40) and of a locking pin (41) which is connected to the latter and which can be pushed through a locking-pin receptacle (42) fixed to the erection frame (2) of the domelight. At the same time, the locking pin (41) engages under a lug or loop (10) of the crown ring (1), so that the parts are interlocked. The moulding (40), with its locking pin (41), can be engaged with the locking-pin receptacle (42), specifically with a guide part (44), or can be retained on the latter. A batten (23) fastened to the erection frame (2) can be clamped between the moulding (40) and guide part (44). Furthermore, there is the possibility of removing, for example unscrewing, the locking pin (41) from the moulding (40). The locking device can open from outside and from inside, from inside by unscrewing the locking pin and from outside by releasing the retention, for example by spreading open catch hooks (140) which engage round a catch pin (244) in the catch position. <IMAGE>
