The invention relates to a metal shuttering shoe with a shuttering surface of 20 x 20 cm, which can be adapted to all step heights and is intended as a plank extension. It is put to best use in the case of steps which are under tension. Even the steps under tension and the 1-m steps can be provided with shuttering using the 90-cm step boards. A few step boards are saved and storage is thus rendered simpler. The planks are fixedly clamped in the shoe, having been previously adjusted to length. Savings in terms of material and time are effected. The article is shown in the drawing. <IMAGE>
