The invention relates to an infusion device for gaseous media which employs a conventional syringe (1) which has a barrel (13) in which a piston (2) can be displaced with a piston rod (3). The infusion line (5) is connected to the outlet (17) of the syringe. The piston (2) and the piston rod (3) are provided with a continuous passage opening (15) which can be connected to the gaseous medium, an O2/O3 mixture. For a particularly reliable design of the device a magnetic valve (9) is located at the inlet to the passage opening (15), the gas stream arriving from an ozone generator being controlled by a primary detector signal emitter (11) acting as a function of the pressure. The advance of the piston (2) takes place via a stepping motor (4). Thus, it is guaranteed that the volume of the syringe lumen is rinsed with absolutely no dead space. <IMAGE>
