摘要 A method is specified by means of which a full bridge in accordance with Fig. 1 is used for four-quadrant control (regulation) of electric motors, which full bridge controls the intensity and direction of the currents flowing through the motor inductance (14) via controllable switches (3, 4, 7, 8), especially semiconductor one-way switches, in a self-clocking manner. Only one of the controllable switches (3, 4, 7, 8) of a selected circuit is always pulsed by the bridge, especially in order to reduce the switching losses, while the other switches are merely switched on or off in accordance with the required current direction. When the switches are driven in a suitable manner, this results in a lower switching frequency of the pulsed switches.
