PURPOSE:To realize processing of a deep hole of small diameter in accordance with BTA mode by installing a gun drill case on a pressure head of said mode and connecting a gun drill spindle to a main shaft head. CONSTITUTION:A BTA mode main shaft head 1 is equipped with a cylindrical case 2, inside which a cylindrical spindle guide 13 is fixed. A gun drill spindle 3, equipped with a cutting oil supply passage 5 which penetrates in the direction of a core of a shaft and a cutting oil intake 4 which penetrates in the radial direction, is installed on the tip part of a BTA mode main shaft 2 which is driven to rotate and move. The cutting oil supply passage 5 is connected to a cutting oil supply passage 10 for a gun drill 9 installed on the spindle 3. When the BTA mode main shaft 2 is advanced while rotating at high speed through a driving system, the spindle 3, the base part of which is fitted and fixed to the tip part of the main part 2 as one body, is also advanced while rotating at high speed, further the gun drill 9 installed on the tip of the spindle 3 is advanced while rotating at high speed, hole cutting work being thus executed. |
