The cabinet includes a door panel (11) hinged on the door frame (13), with a fastening mechanism for locking the door panel to the frame. The door panel has a detector (34) on its back, sensing the complete closure of the door. This is inactive when the door is closed, and opposes operation of the fastening mechanism when the door is open. The fastening mechanism includes rods (29) operating bolts at the top and bottom of the door. The closure detector includes a piston operated by the door closure to move between positions where the rod (29) is either blocked, or free to move. ADVANTAGE - Mechanism prevents door being apparently locked, when it is not actually fully closed.
