PURPOSE:To provide dustproofing to picture forming device and to eliminate wasteful space while the device is not in use by making a copying sheet placing plate and a discharging plate freely turnable and closing the device while not in use airtightly. CONSTITUTION:A sheet placing plate 17 and a sheet receiving plate 12 are made freely turnable. While picture forming device is not in use, large openings for inserting and discharging of sheets are held closed, and the device is tightly closed and dustproofed respectively by dustproofing members 24, 25. It is possible to eliminate wasteful occupying areas while the device is not in use. The closing of the plates 12, 13 is detected surely by means of detecting elements 17 and 18, 21 and 23 which are consisting of respectively projections and switches, or the like. |
