PURPOSE:To display and record maintenance information at a time by providing a means which decodes maintenance information on a copying machine and a display signal supply means which supplies the signal decoded by the decoding means as a display signal to a driving means for a light emitting element array. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 10 provided to a blank lamp unit 23 performs on-off control over plural light emitting elements (LED) and its control program is written previously in a ROM 11. A RAM 12 is a memory for storing image data on one image plane when the maintenance information is outputted by one image plane. A CPU 1 which controls the whole copying machine decodes the maintenance information successively and outputs the result to the CPU 10, which stores image data of one image plane in the RAM 12. The CPU 10 read the contents of the RAM 12 successively at necessary timing and outputs them from an I/O port 13, so that the plural LEDs are brought under on-off control in order. Consequently, information required for maintenance is listed and its contents are easily grasped. |
