The invention relates to a securing means for a wall which is arranged at a distance from a building wall, designed as back-up masonry or the like and having an outer heat-insulating layer, serves as facade cladding and consists of facing bricks or the like. The securing means comprises a mounting rail (10) which can be fastened at a distance from the building wall (2). In the parallel mounting-rail plane (13), directed away from the building wall, there is formed a vertical, groove-shaped cutout (14) into which wire anchors (15) can be firmly inserted such that they can be released. Said wire anchors (15) serve to secure the facing masonry. Expediently, the mounting rail (10) has a T-shaped cross-section, the plane (13) being formed by transverse webs (11, 12). On the longitudinal web (16) of the mounting rail (10) there are arranged vertical strips (18) which are known per se, have a trapezoidal cross-section and can be brought into engagement with vertical toothed grooves which have a trapezoidal cross-section and are formed on the contact surfaces, directed towards the longitudinal web (16), of angular wall-retaining means or spacers which can be fixed on said longitudinal web. <IMAGE>
