The invention relates to a housing for individual cells (modules) which can be assembled to form high-power batteries, fuse elements being integrated in the side housing walls, which fuse elements consist of teeth (ribs) which project like combs, and which fuse elements engage in the teeth of adjacent housings in order to fix their mutual position. The tooth height and the tooth gap are in this case dimensioned such that a cooling gap is left between the individual housing walls for gaseous media to flow through.
