PURPOSE:To stop running of a tape in case when a flaw, etc. exist on the tape, and to remove a noise band in a short time in one running, by inhibiting running of a magnetic tape in a prescribed time after a static picture reproducing mode command. CONSTITUTION:A static picture reproducing command signal Z from input terminals 61, 62 of a static picture reproducing device 60, and a drop-out detecting command signal X are inputted to a time limiting circuit 16 being a running inhibiting means, and an output Xa of this circuit 16, the signal Z, and a head switching signal Y from an input terminal 63 are supplied to a time difference detecting circuit 11 for detecting a position of a noise band. A signal H corresponding to a noise band position detected by this circuit 11 is inputted to a time width converting circuit 12, and a pulse corresponding to the signal H is outputted. An output K from this circuit 12 is provided to a driving signal generating circuit 13, and from this circuit 13, a driving command signal M of the motor and an inversion damping signal N are generated and are inputted to a capstan shaft driving circuit 34. In this way, running of a tape is inhibited in a prescribed time after the signal Z has been inputted. |
