<p>PURPOSE: To provide a locking device which is easy in manufacturing and allows its tumbler to be positioned, without longitudinal displacement of a cylinder core. CONSTITUTION: A locking device consisting of a key 2 and a lock cylinder 1 is obtained. The lock cylinder 1 is provided with a cylinder core 5, which is rotatable in a casing 3 and has an axially extending channel 16 for insertion of the key 2. The channel 16 is formed in a manner of passing through plate- shaped tumblers 7 arranged axially in succession in the cylinder core 5. The key is provided with bit stages on a key shank 13, which bit stages carry out the positioning of the tumbler 7 to a position releasing the rotation of the cylinder core. The locking device is designed, such that the positioning movement of the tumblers 7 is performed as a rotational movement about the axis of the key shank 13, and that its range is preferably limited by stops 21, 22.</p> |
