The overhead travelling crane has head plates at the ends of the gantry beams. They are drilled for screws by which brackets with travel wheels are secured to it. The holes (8) have counterbores (9) for tubular sleeves (11) which accommodate the screws (10). The counterbores all end in a common plane, and all sleeves extend to this plane. Where the brackets are of box-section, the sleeves can extend right through and be welded to them. |
