PURPOSE:To detect only perforations accurately even if a hole is made in a film between perforations, by detecting motion which accompanies the insertion and extraction of a specific sense pin into and from a perforation. CONSTITUTION:A sense pin 2 shaped in such a way that its tip is fitted in a perforation 1a of a film 1 and not fitted in a hole 1b for showing optional information between perforations 1a is provided over the passing track of perforations 1a of the film 1 while energized toward the film surface. Then, the motion of this sense pin 2 accompanying insertion into and extraction from perforations 1a is detected. For example, a means for energizing the sense pin 2 toward the film surface constitutes part of a switch 10 which constitutes a means for detecting said motion accompanying the insertion into and extraction from perforations 1a. |
