<p>Device which comprises: a fan (20) whose suction is connected to a powder, preferably zinc powder, dispenser (28) and whose delivery ends in a spraying nozzle arranged facing the strip of sheet metal (10) running pass continuously, originating from the galvanising bath and coated with zinc which has not yet crystallised and a casing consisting of two housings (12-12') which are symmetrical in relation to the strip of sheet metal and defining between them a substantially vertical passage in which the strip travels, each housing comprising the said spraying nozzle (16-16' respectively) connected to the delivery of the fan, and return slits (18-18') arranged in the upper part and in the lower part of each housing respectively, these return slits being connected to the suction of the fan, this device being characterised in that it comprises means (30-30', 32-32') responsible for the leakproofing in relation to the external atmosphere and in relation to the other internal parts of the plant, of the passage between the two housings of the casing in which the strip of sheet metal travels. <IMAGE></p> |
