PURPOSE:To save labors and costs in pumping up and feeding water with no use of electric power, by enabling to pump up and feed water automatically by continuous, alternate action of a pair of valves utilizing pressurized water supplied from a river or the like and pressure produced by the pressurized water. CONSTITUTION:With closing of an opening 13 by bringing a valve plate 12 into engagement with the opening 13 manually, water supplied from a river or the like flows downward through a pipe 2 and impinges onto the valve plate 12 in a box-like body 1 and closes the opening 13, while a part of water is introduced into an upper cylinder 3, forcing a cylinder valve 20 upward. At the instant, impulsive pressure of water introduced into the box-like body 1 is lowered momentarily, so that the opening 13 is opened through fluttering of the valve plate 12. However, since impulsive pressure is subsequently produced by water introduced into the box-like body 1, the valve plate 12 is closed and pressure in the cylinder 3 is raised. Through repetition of the above procedures, air in the cylinder 3 is compressed into pressure air by water introduced into the cylinder 3. By the air pressure in the cylinder 3, the valve plate 20 is urged onto a valve seat 17 and closes the valve opening, and at the same time, water at the lower part in the cylinder 3 is forced into a water feed pipe 4 and carried upward therethrough. By repeating the above fluid movement, it is enabled to pump up and feed water automatically to a high place. |
