Compounds of formula (II); <CHEM> or a salt thereof; wherein R<1> is hydrogen or methyl; R<2> is hydrogen or methyl; R<3> is hydrogen, C1-12 alkyl, C1-12 cycloalkyl, or benzyl optonally substituted with C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, or halogen, n is 1 or 2; and A is hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl, C1-6 alkyl or C1-6 alkoxy; are useful in treating obesity, diabetes, or inflammation, or inhibiting platelet aggregation.
