<p>A separable type of slide fastener (10) is disclosed which has a separable end stop assembly (20) mounted on the bottom end of the fastener. The stop assembly (20) has a pair of pin members received in a socket member (23), the second pin (22) being slightly longer than the first pin (21). There is provided a clearance (H) between the lower end (21 min ) of the first pin (21) and the inner bottom wall (23a min ) of the socket (23) to compensate for any deviation in the relative positions of the two pin members (21, 22) on the fastener.</p> |
