EXTRACTION AGENT FOR NOBLE METAL AND SEPARATING METHOD OF NOBLE METAL USING THE SAME AGENT

PURPOSE:To selectively and efficiently extract a noble metal into an org. phase by bringing the org. containing an extraction agent expressed by a specified formula into contact with an aq. soln. containing the noble metal under acidic condition. CONSTITUTION:An org. solvent consisting of kerosine to which about 0.1M/l di(2-etylhexyl)cyanamide being an extraction agent of a noble metal expressed by the formula (R1 and R2 are 2-ethylhexyl) is prepared. On the other hand, the treating liq. in which the hydrochloric acid concn. of the aq. soln. containing about 100mg/l base metal (Pb, etc.) is adjusted in order of 0.1-10 nomal is prepared. Then, the noble metal-containing treating liq. is brought into contact with the org. solvent to extract the noble metal into the org. solvent. In this way, the noble metal is separated efficiently.
