<p>This coupling comprises a receptor piece (1) provided with as many recesses (2) as there are pipes to couple and with a corresponding number of rings (11). The recesses (2) are conical and extend into a part (3), the base of which is preferably oblique and serves as a stop (4) for the pipe. The conical part (2) bears saw-tooth features (5). The rings (11) have an annular extension (12), which is straight on the inside and on the outside has the form of a cone, the surface of which likewise bears saw-tooth features (13). The rings are inserted into the recesses (2) against the pipes, the saw-teeth (5, 13) opposing their withdrawal as well as that of the pipes. Application to the coupling of plastic pipes, especially reinforced ones, and in general for low pressure (less than 5 bar) transport at temperatures above 80 DEG C for example. The couplings are corrosion resistant and absorb well mechanical vibration and shock. <IMAGE></p> |
